Vegetable shop for pupils and parents

De Mozaïek’ is a primary school with a lot of pupils with a vulnerable background.

Because the school noticed that the lunchboxes were mostly not healthy, they started a ‘vegetable shop’ that opens just before a long weekend or a vacation. In the morning, before school, the shop opens and parents can go there with their child to fill thire lunch box with tasty, healthy things like sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, olives, nuts, ...

This is a very valuable moment to get in contact with parents and start a conversation about a healthy lunch box. The parents can see that a healthy lunchbox is not necessarily something expensive and complicated. Although the shop is not open that often, the school can see an improvement of the lunchboxes.
