The problem
Using local and seasonal farm produce in lunch preparation - students to students.
The solution we used
We secured ingredients from a local farm to prepare a hot lunch cooked by the students of our school (cook apprenticeship) for their classmates as a thank you for their help in building a school community space.
Implementation
1. We planned the cooking and bought the necessary ingredients (local farms Horné Srnie and Gazdovstvo Uhliská)
2. The pupils - future cooks - cooked beef goulash, baked potatoes with bryndza and pancakes in the school kitchen.
3. They invited their classmates for lunch, who at that time were working hard to build a school community space.
